DEWEY SEVERS MEMORIAL ARENA
The EMCC Dewey Severs Memorial Arena has earned the reputation of being one of the best arenas in the state. It is now being used for many events besides our own annual EMCC Saddle Series Youth Rodeo. Various clinics are held each year that include Team Roping classes by well known world champions. Also, Bull Riding clinics taught by world class champions in the sport of Bull Riding are offered. Upcoming bull riding champ Hunter Salter, along with his dad Billy schedule at least two events per year known as the 'Bull Bash on Old Route 66' that close to 1000 people attend.
Located on the East Mountain Cowboy Church 62 acre property about 2 miles east of Edgewood at
2234 Old Route 66, Edgewood, NM 87015 and we're close to all amenities. But you don't need to run for food as we have a full 'state of the art' Chuck Wagon with an ample seating area serving great food at every church sponsored event.
There are 12 horse stalls for those who are traveling through New Mexico and would like to rest overnight or stay for an event. We provide water and electric hook up for horse trailers. Many more improvements being added as we move forward. The arena is available for rent for equine events and other rodeos.
